Beginning every spring season, there are new exciting exhibits that are unveiled. While you’re visiting DC, these are some of the exhibits that are a must-see!

Dark Fields of the Republic: Alexander Gardener Photographs 1858-1872

Alexander Gardener, known as the man who shot the Civil War, created dramatic and vivid photographs of battlefields, which included images of the recently dead. These shocking images continue to haunt the national imagination.

Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology

For over 30 years, audiences around the world have followed Indiana Jones on his quests for adventure, fortune, and glory. The exhibition features real fascinating archaeological artifacts, along with an extensive collection of original Indiana Jones film materials that will take you on the adventure of a lifetime.

Drawing in Silver and Gold: Leonardo to Jasper Johns

This first comprehensive exhibition to examine the history of metalpoint—the art of drawing with a metal stylus on a specially prepared ground—presents some 90 drawings from the late Middle Ages to the present, from the collections of the British Museum, the National Gallery of Art, and other major museums in the United States and Europe.
